Our beautifully handcrafted Shepherds Hut is a popular choice for customers looking to offer a cosy retreat for holiday letting or the perfect accommodation to host friends & family visiting. 

The Shepherds Hut has been carefully designed and built with the highest quality materials by experienced craftsmen in Somerset to produce long lasting products.

It has a perfectly designed floor plan, offering a large open plan living space whilst providing the essential facilities; fully fitted self-catering kitchen, king size bedframe, shower bathroom and dining area.

Each Shepherds Hut consists of the following:

• Delivered fully assembled and ready to connect.
• 20ft x 8ft steel chassis with large iron wheels and draw bar.
• Externally cladded in locally sourced and durable British Red Cedar.
• Fully integrated shaker style kitchen with sold wood worktop. Equipped with Belfast sink, fridge space, fan oven, wine rack and plenty of storage space.
• Bathroom consisting of a beautiful standalone shower with marble effect wall panels, natural white marble stone basin, wall hung floating toilet, heated towel rail, toilet roll holder, mirror, extractor fan, vanity cupboard and electric shaver socket.
• King size wall bedframe, easy to fold up to create a large seating area of dining or entertainment purposes.
• Yale smart door lock with code setting for holiday letting guests or key.
• Storm proof and energy efficient red wood framed double glazed windows and French doors.
• Engineered oak floors providing stability and resistance to variations in temperature and moisture.
• Oak wood trims to really finish off the Shepherds Hut to an excellent standard, setting us apart from others.
• Electric boiler providing plentiful supply of hot water for shower and taps.
• Underfloor and central heating, which can be controlled by your phone.
• Google Nest 2nd generation smoke and CO wired alarm.
• Electrics and plumbing installed throughout.
• Dimmer light switches, standard electrical 3 pin sockets, USB sockets for charging phones and other devices and shaver point in Bathroom.

Electrics

• Your hut can either be connected to mains electric or solar pannels can be installed as an optional extra.
• The Shepherds Hut will be electrical tested, and a certificate will be provided.
• There is a 63amp commando plug, which requires a 63amp electric supply.

Waste

• The hut can be connected to mains sewage, septic or above ground tank.

Water

• The hut can be connected to mains water or above ground tank.

Wood burner

• The wood burner will be fitted with a double skinned flue pipe, fire resistant boarding, air vent and carbon monoxide detector. 

Weight

• Each Shepherds Hut weights approximately 1.5 tonnes (1,500 kg). 

Warranty

• Shepherd Hut structure comes with a 1 year warranty starting from the date of delivery.
• Internal units e.g. electric combi boiler, comes with a 2 year warranty from the date of installation with the supplier.

Delivery

• Our Shepherds Hut will be delivered within 4 weeks.
• Delivery to England and Wales is £500.
• The Shepherds Hut will come delivered, fully assembled, on a trailer and offloaded roadside or private car park.
• It's the customers responsibility to position the Shepherds Hut on site and ensure ground is ready.

Preparing the ground

• It will be your responsibility to ensure the ground is prepared and ready for the Shepherds Hut to be delivered.
• Most people dig out a base and lay compacted hardcore so it's level. You could lay concrete or slabs under each wheel, but it's not always necessary.
